Looking back to move forward

Each year, we like to reflect and share highlights of what has been accomplished – and how the needle has been moved toward the kind of world we want to see. 

This year is special, though. As we hinted in our November newsletter, we have been re-thinking our firm’s name and brand identity; and in the coming weeks we will announce a new name for our firm that we feel better reflects who we are and how we serve our clients. With that in mind, this year we have been reflecting more broadly on the impact our firm has made for over a decade-plus as “Cutting Edge.”

Our firm has always been unique among most law firms. As an explicitly mission-driven firm comprising lawyers who are deeply committed to that mission, we work with clients who are making the world a better place. We help them succeed, utilizing a variety of tools, some well-known and others which are little-known or seldom-used. Our enthusiasm for strategically thinking “outside the box” is perhaps what most sets us apart.

We also want to acknowledge that we could not have gotten where we are without all of you – our clients, collaborators, colleagues, allies, readers of our newsletters, and all others who care about building an economy that works for everyone. Thank you all!
